Abstract
Theemission ofpollutantsespecially particulatematterandnitrogenoxides, generatedbytheoperationofadiesel engine, posesathreattotheecology ofourplanetandisdetrimentaltohumanhealth.Theapplication ofanemulsification techniquetopreparethefuelhasbeenconsideredtobeoneofthepossibleapproachesto mwellastherateoffuel consumption. Thispaperpresents anexperimentalresultcarriedouttoevaluate performanceandexhaustgasemissions ofa small dieselenginewhen operated onneatdiesel oilanditsemulsionswithwater.
