    In our modernization life there is regularly and very faster consumption of crude oil but the resource of crude oil are limited so that there is a need to invent an option for future to find an alternate of diesel/petrol which is most ideal, renewable and easily accessible in nature. As the crude fuel resource are nonrenewable and which is limited, so the fuel price at faster pace is continuously increases for regularly fulfillment of demand and limited supply. By continuously consumption of fossil fuel or crude oil results, there is speedy declining in reserve of fossil fuels. The consumption rate of diesel fuel is much higher than Petrol. During combustion of fossil fuel there is continuously emission of Green-House Gases (GHG) such as carbon dioxide which is causing climate change and global warming Biodiesel, is substitute as an alternative fuel has gained significant attention due to the shortage of conventional fuels. The utilization of liquid fuels such as biodiesel produced from Tamarind seed oil by Trans esterification process represents one of the most promising options for the use of conventional fossil fuels. The Tamarind oil is converted into Tamarind oil methyl ester known as biodiesel prepared in the presence of homogeneous acid catalyst. The physical properties like flash point, density, Kinematic viscosity, Cloud point and Pour point were found out for Tamarind oil and Tamarind methyl ester. The same characteristics study was also carried out for the diesel fuel for obtaining the base line data for analysis. The values obtained from the Tamarind methyl ester is closely matched with the values of conventional diesel and can be used in the existing diesel engine without any modification.

    More recently the atmospheric pollutant incineration directive has imposed significant changes on any process burning waste materials; the introduction of Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) has set out a programme of pollution reduction in all industries; and the Revised LCPD has forced all the power generators to reduce sulphur and nitrogen oxide emissions. The additional pressure drop of the Fabric Filters is less important for cement works compared to a power station as the ESP is relatively larger compared to the Fabric Filer and therefore consumes relatively more power precipitating the dust. To reduce production costs, many works are substituting coal and gas with other materials such as tyres and recycled liquid fuels (RLF). These “wastes” often attract a “gate fee” and are therefore very attractive to cement plant owners.

    Gadolinium doped Y2Zr2O7 phosphor was synthesised by solid state reaction method with variable concentration of Gd3+ions. Samples of Y2Zr2O7:Gd3+ were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique; scanning electron microscopic (SEM) technique and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The photoluminescence study shows intense green emission from the prepared phosphor for variable concentration of Gd3+ ions and concentration quenching phenomenon explained in details. The emission spectrum of Gd3+ revealed that it was distributed at Gd3+ and Zr4+ sites in host matrix. It is found that the gadolinium ions responsible for emission spectrum and it show all possible transition of gadolinium ions covering visible region (white light). Spectrophotometric determinations ofpeaks are evaluated by Commission Internationale de I’Eclairage(CIE) technique. Using this phosphor, the desired CIE values including emissions throughout the violet light and intense green light emission was found for 396nm excitation and for 254nm it is found white light emission. Corresponding color rendering index (CRI) and corelatedcolor temperature were calculated for day light lightening system. Calculations of theJudd–Ofelt parameters revealed that 2>4, which indicates high covalencyand low symmetry around Gd3+, which is in agreement with the results of emission spectroscopy. On the basis of above result the phosphor shows intense green as well as white light emission so it is very useful for display device applications, optical communication system and solid state lightening device such as (light emitting diode) LED’s and (white light emitting diode) WLED’s.
